Rationale:
"The Bird" is a piece that represents the freedom of ones childhood being taken away due to abuse. Birds are often associated with innocence and freedom, and are able to fly anywhere. But since the bird is dead, that freedom and innocence has been taken away from it. Much like how if a child has to go through hard things at such a young age, their childhood gets taken away from them.
