Rationale: These grapefruits remind me of summertime snacks with my family, which is why I painted them. Like sunny days at the park, the vibrant colours bring me joy. I wanted to demonstrate how joy can be found in the little things, like fruit. Like my memories, the painting stands out against the red background.
