Days go by with no reply. 

I call your name with unfocused aim,

Even white roses will wilt and bend.

when the ecstasy bleeds out again I'll feel alive once more.

it's passing, like a bullet train.

bittersweet, like coffee.  

Ephemeral, forever and always.


Rationale: Ephemeral is a poem I wrote after discovering the word and thinking 'Hey..i could work with this!!' and after a few days of word association and rewriting lines, I came up with what you see now.
