My only home is in your heart, burning from the passions within. 

Each scar leaving me bruised and blue.

I'd ruin time to spend every minute with you.

I'd ruin myself to stay with you, acting, as if on cue.

Take my hand and we'll dance together. 

On the edge of life and death.

Rationale: 'Cause of Death' is a poem I wrote when I felt myself drifting apart from someone, made in a futile attempt to honour them, in a way. It's a poem dedicated to the people you cling too and how parts of you grow and die with each new person.
