A great big sky

The color of her eyes

She says “don’t lie”

But I can’t fight

Drive her home

Through the snow

For a minute she loves me

But she’ll never be free

When I’m gone

She’ll remember me

Think I was sweet

Gone, gone, gone

That’s what I think

But then she calls me

“I know you’re not sorry”

And sends me some pages

Sung them, became famous

Overnight, my name is everywhere

And she thinks I still don’t care

Her haunting breath

Threats of death

That’s the singer whose heart I broke

I tore her world apart

But she got revenge

She hopes I’ve learned my lesson

I don’t know myself

I guess I deserved it

Guess I learned it

But I’ll never be sure

Goodbye to the singer whose heart I broke

Tore her apart, watched her revenge

And I sort of learned a lesson
