In the earliest of time, Zeus and Helios controlled the world. Zeus controlled all life on the planet. Helios was the god of titans and controlled the sun. The whole world suffered terrible weather as a result of the fight between Helios and Zeus. In the end, Helios was defeated and lost the power to the control of the sun. The weather patterns changed drastically and it rained for weeks. Crops were not able to grow, traveling was impossible and it seemed like the planet was doomed.
A strong gust of wind rushed into the room, with a rumble, the house shook. One of Zeus’s thunderbolts struck a house nearby. “Zephyr! We have run out of food!” Thea shouted.
“What?” Zephyr replied with confusion, “We ran out of food, mother?” “Yes!” she shouted back.
“What should we do?” Zephyr questioned anxiously. “I’ll think of something!” Thea replied.
As the thunderbolts continued to strike the village, Thea became more anxious. And finally thought of an idea and said, “There is only one way that could help us survive, but it’s risky.” “Well mother, what is it?” Zephyr asked. “You must go to Mount Olympus, the home of the gods, and find Helios’s soul. When you find it, you will have to revive it,” his mother suggested.
Zephyr was confused and asked, “How do I do that?” “Well, first of all, you must get to Mount Olympus and convince Aphrodite or Hermes to tell you where Helios's soul is being kept. Then, after you find it, you have to revive it.”
“No, mother! I can’t. I am not the one to fight Zeus. I’m just a human,” Zephyr said to her mother. “Do not worry, my son. I have something to tell you. You are actually one of Zeus’s many sons. You are the only one who can fight him and save this world from doom. You should bring Iris too, since you will need all the help on this journey,” his mother assured him. Zephyr said his goodbyes to his family after explaining everything to his wise and knowledgeable sister Iris, and they set out into the pitch black night hoping that they wouldn’t be seen.
After they reached the city of Abila, Iris brought Zephyr to the potion maker, the only one who could get them to Mount Olympus. Zephyr explained everything to the potion maker and she gave Zephyr and Iris two potions, one for getting up to Mount Olympus, and the other to get back. Zephyr and Iris each took a sip of the first potion, and suddenly they were outside the gates of Mount Olympus.
“We’ve made it!” Iris exclaimed. As they walked up the steps, they were met with Hermes. “What do you want with the gods, humans?” Hermes asked them. “We are here to find Helios’s soul,” Zephyr told Hermes. “What do you want with Helios’s soul?,” Hermes questioned Zephyr. “We need it to prevent the destruction of the world.” Zephyr told Hermes. “I will now test your strength to see if you are worthy,” Hermes said to Zephyr.
As Hermes got ready to fight Zephyr, Hermes suddenly felt a hint of fear. Zephyr took out his dagger and proceeded to fight Hermes. Hermes took out his famous weapon, the caduceus. The weapon was known for being able to control beings lesser than gods. When Hermes struck Zephyr with the rod, he was shocked that he wasn’t able to control Zephyr.
Hermes was confused and asked Zephyr, “Who are you, really?” “Zeus is my father and I'm one of his sons,” Zephyr reluctantly replied. “That makes you my brother. Alright, I will help you,” Hermes said.
They went to the dungeons of souls and began searching for Helios’s soul. “It must be locked up, since it is very valuable,” Hermes said to Zephyr. They continued searching, and suddenly a loud thunderbolt struck the ground.
They heard a horrifying voice, “HERMES! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Zeus roared so loudly that the entire mountain shook. They were terrified and Hermes began to explain to the angered Zeus.
As Hermes was trying to buy time, Zephyr found the soul, and indeed it was locked up. Zephyr tried breaking the graphene case, but it was no use. As Zeus continued firing thunderbolts at Zephyr, one of the thunderbolts broke open the case, inside was the flaming red soul of Helios’s. Zephyr grabbed the soul and tried to run away, but Zeus managed to hit Zephyr with one of his thunderbolts. Zephyr fell to the ground, trying to breath desperately, and Zephyr decided to exchange his soul for Helios’s. Zephyr’s soul began to be sucked out of him to be replaced with Helios’s soul. After Helios was revived, he summoned the sun and weather patterns were invented. The sun would come from time to time and so would the rain, snow and wind.
