Chapter 1: Through the painting

“Welcome to our home, Trinity! My husband and I are going out for a dinner party and here are some rules you and my daughter, Annabelle, will need to follow when having your sleepover” Mrs. Brown led Trinity, a young girl with long ginger hair, brilliant blue eyes and freckles dotting her rosy cheeks through a hallway in the Brown mansion. “ It’s not too much, you just need to remember to be careful and do not go into our daisy garden.” Trinity nodded and happily bounded to the living room.

As Mrs. Brown and Trinity stepped out of the empty hallway, A young girl with black hair and misty grey eyes, Annabelle, stepped out of a door and Mrs. Brown left with her husband. Annabelle smiled, grabbed Trinity’s arm and ran down the hallway until she reached a painting of a garden. Trinity laughed and said playfully, “ What’s so important about this painting? And you didn’t need to drag me here, I can walk.” Annabelle tapped the painting three times and the painting slowly opened, “My mum made this entrance to the daisy garden, I want to water the flowers too!” Trinity saw Annabelle climb into the narrow tunnel behind the secret door and hesitated, “But your mum said we couldn’t go into the daisy garden, I don’t want us to get in trouble.” Annabelle rolled her eyes and pulled Trinity in with her.

Chapter 2: The voice in the gloom

Suddenly, the long narrow tunnel plunged into darkness and the girls crawled through the tunnel whilst feeling the wet and grimy walls. Annabelle and Trinity came to a halt at a glass elevator. Upon closer inspection, the rusty elevator only had one button that led to the daisy garden and with that, the two girls cautiously climbed into the elevator as it slowly went down. It must have been a while before the girls reached the garden because all they felt was the elevator going deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and still deeper, and then the elevator finally stopped with an abrupt halt and it squealed as the girls opened the door. In front of them was a beautiful garden with dainty white daisies dotting every surface of the garden. Trinity and Annabelle grabbed the cups of water on the side and poured water into the dry soil, the beautiful flowers magically blossomed. “Hello girls, you must be Trinity and Annabelle, welcome dears.” A sudden voice echoed through the garden and sent chills down the girls’ spines.Although the tone of the voice was absolutely dripping with honey it was scary hearing a voice in the gloom. “Who are you? What are you doing in my garden?” Annabelle tried to sound confident, “I live here. I am part of the daisy fairies!” She said, voice trembling. Trinity chimed in, “Where are you? I want to see how much of a “fairy” you are.” The sweet voice replied, “Go to the first daisy nearest to the door and feel the middle of the flower and then take the key and trace a rectangle on the door, then go through the new door.” Trinity ran to the first daisy and placed her finger in the center of the flower and she felt something sharp. She carefully pulled it out and held up a small golden key. Annabelle took it and traced the rectangle on the door and a small door bled through, Annabelle and Trinity climbed through and prepared to meet the fairy.

Chapter 3: The fairies

Annabelle and Trinity found themselves in a snug little room. There were vines crawling up the walls. The ground sprouted colossal daisies and in the center of each was a fairy sitting comfortably. The fairies wore dresses made from the giant petals and leaves of the daisies, they had slightly golden butterfly wings which glistened in the smiling sun. On their heads sat a giant daisy which was a lot smaller than the ones they slept on but bigger than the ones outside. Their stares were fixed upon the two girls as one of them climbed down their daisy and welcomed them. She smiled at them and spoke in the same soothing tone, “Hello Annabelle, Trinity, I am Eliza,” She had long brown hair and glittering golden eyes. She spoke softly: “This is Lennon, Sunny and Lily. Sit down, we have something to tell you, something quite shocking for you both.” Annabelle and Trinity’s eyes widened, they were both frightened and interested in what the fairies had to say, but before they could ask anything, two ladybugs magically bounded towards the girls and lumped over to the table. Eliza also sat herself on a ladybug as three teacups with hummingbirds painted on them floated to the table and filled themselves with rose tea.

Eliza took a sip and smiled warmly, “Shall we begin?” Enchanted, the girls nodded and Eliza began, “The girls and I have been waiting for you to come to visit us for a long time, we are here to tell you that Mrs. Brown is not the sweet woman you think she is. She may pretend to be nice but behind the mask she has a murderous personality. She uses the poison from our daisies. The darkness and malice within them causes people to lose control of their choice and do whatever their new master says. This poison takes it’s victim to a replica world where they can do things like murder someone in the other world but in the real world things they do will happen without a trace, the person just vanishes. Did you notice the rapid crimes in the newspapers? Those were Mrs. Brown’s victims.”
