Once upon a time, there lived a chicken called “Chicken” who never knew his parents and was adopted at a young age by a nice chicken couple. One day, after a horrible day at school, he went to the playground with his friends.

They arrived at the playground and it immediately started raining. His friend Joseph ran under a nearby tree for shelter, but “Chicken” took no notice of the rain and insisted on playing on the swings as Joseph watched him. Half an hour later, “Chicken” was still playing on the swings. Joseph started to get worried because lightning had started to appear.

Suddenly, there was a flash of lightning by the swings, and “Chicken” lay on the floor, his wings spread out and not moving. Joseph picked “Chicken” up gently, carried him back home in the storm and explained the whole situation to his adopted parents.

When “Chicken” woke up he felt, strangely, more powerful than ever, as if he had been magically given the superpower of lightning!

“Chicken” called Joseph on the phone and explained what happened to him. He went over to Joseph's house and tried out his powers,accidentally lighting his house plants on fire in the process. He ran to fetch water, but his friend had already extinguished it and looked at him, bemused..

“Chicken” left his house and went back home to have dinner. He glanced at the TV as he walked in and saw a big bold headline: “BANK ROBBERY: SUSPECTS STILL AT LARGE.” Standing still, he listened to the reporter say: “Today there was a robbery in the BIG BANK, in which masked figures stole a huge sum of money totalling 50000. The robbers have not yet been arrested, any officers who have tried to enter the bank have been held captivePolice are asking the question: is there anyone out there who can help us now?”

Getting up, “Chicken” walked out the door and straight to the BIG BANK to try to stop the robbers. When he arrived, he fought the robbers with his new superpowers and saved the people who were held hostage in BIG BANK. He was rewarded a huge sum of money and the name “Chicken” became a household name. Ever since then, he has been a superhero, saving lives and doing good. The End!
